Spring Break, Spring cleaning and Spring fever...

A few of my favorite Spring photos...

A beautiful Easter spent with family followed by a day of planting and cleaning. At least a dozen projects spread out all over my studio and my to do list is growing. First item of business is to get together 10 pieces of art for submission to the Lynchburg Art Club for consideration of an exhibition later this year. I've put it off in the past however have decided to take the plunge and need to get everything ready and delivered by the end of the week. It's time to get busy!
Enjoy your week.

Spring things...

It's been a gray week, lots of rain and clouds. So happy to see the sun shining this morning although rain is supposed to return tomorrow.
Sharing a few Spring items with you today...

This is the card I made for Wes & Michelle, not a coinsidence that it's done in the same colors as the wedding.

I took this photo last week, they have already hatched and hoping to get a photo of the babies this afternoon.

We spend a couple of nights a week at one ball field or another between Tyler's T-Ball and Sarah's softball. Last night Sarah's team played their final game, a nail biter, and won, ending the season with a perfect record, winning all 17 games! Congratulations Lady Bees!!!

Tyler has a couple more weeks to play.
Enjoy your day!
Be back soon.

Funny story...

First, a few photos from Spring Break...

My baby girl, Sarah...
here she is again with my little man, Tyler.
Now, for the story...Tyler came to stay a few days while he was off from school and on the Monday after Easter, both Jaelyn and Emma were here too. Sarah and I decided to take the girls for a walk in their strollers and Tyler rode along on his bike having just gotten a new helmet from the Easter Bunny. So, off we went...as we were headed back, one of the training wheels keep coming loose and causing Tyler's bike to tilt to one side and he was having difficulty riding. We were still quite a ways from the house and he was having an even harder time trying to push it back home so Granny traded places with him, he pushed Emma in her stroller and I rode his bike back. My mistake...letting Sarah hold my camera...

Oh the things we do for our kids and grandkids, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Hope you had a fantastic weekend. Ours was quiet, it was cloudy and damp outdoors so we opted for getting a few chores done and then I spent the rest of the weekend creating. I mostly worked on my journals and will share a few completed pages soon.
Hope your Monday is great!
Be back soon.

Earth Day

A few more blooms to celebrate...

A few of the flowers I've planted this Spring. I'm working with lots of bright colors in my garden this year and using lots of plants that attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
Created a few more cards yesterday and will post them soon.
Happy Earth Day!
Hope it's bright and wonderful.
Be back soon.

Butterflies and blooms

I love watching the butterflies on the lilac bushes.
Took these photos yesterday...

I've been busy, as usual, working in the yard, helping Dad, playing with the girls and making lots of cards for the Heritage Crafters Gallery. Loving the Spring weather although the last 2 days have been a bit on the chilly side.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.
Be back soon.
