Sitting on the beach, listening to the waves crash and watching the most beautiful sunrise...what could be more magical...

I took over a hundred photos that morning, these are some of my favorites. I love the outline around the clouds in the first ones.

This is my first ever attempt at doing a watercolor. I've been reading several books on watercolor painting and am fascinated by the process. I'm currently working on a few smaller pieces...still a learning process.

and that's where I'm headed in a few days...a much needed vacation. I plan to read, explore and soak up the sun.
