Snow Day...

Here we are, several days into spring and this is what we got yesterday. Spent today with three of our grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel and Madelyn. Took Madelyn to see the Easter Bunny this morning, that was a bust, she would have nothing to do with him. Japanese for lunch and then to Toys R' Us for Gabriel to use the gift cards he received for his birthday. Then an afternoon of sledding, oh what fun we had.
A great day out.
Not much going on as far as creating...my heart just hasn't been there for several days. Lots on my mind. Trying to decide when to hold on and when to let go. It's a process.
Have a great evening.
Enjoy!

Clay Pendants

Polymer Clay Pendants
I'm not a big jewelry person and have never really had any desire to make jewelry. There's a a first time for anything and I am loving how these turned out. The top piece is my favorite, I think it's because of the colors. I love the color of copper.
Clay has been put away for a while, I'm busy painting in various art journals. Just felt the need to get paint on my fingers. Taking my art to a gallery tomorrow and hoping that it will be accepted. Keeping my paint covered fingers crossed.
Enjoy!

Hands...

A few more hands I created. It takes many attempts to get a good hand, I also noticed that the more I do, the pudgier they are. Nothing wrong with pudgy hands.  My favorite is the one holding the flowers.
Beautiful, sunny weather this past weekend. Couldn't get enough, I'm so ready for spring.
Clay today, project to finish tomorrow and back to some painting later in the week.
Hope you have a fabulous week.
Enjoy!

So true...

Love this shirt! I understand the term "starving artist".

It's been a time of adjustment for us, my husband has just gone to 3rd shift. He's been on 2nd for over 2 years and 1st the last 6 weeks in training for his new position. Trying to go about my days while he sleeps. So far, so good, he's been able to sleep and I've been able to work. This week, I've been creating clay tiles, lots of them, in various sizes. Working on a piece that should be done in the next few days. Hope to share soon.
Enjoy!
