Cute animals...

Not quite sure what inspired me to start this series...

These are the first three in a series of six.
Fun and silly .
A lion, peacock and hippo to come when they are finished.
I think these would be so cute in a child's room.

Making Washi tape...

I could spend a small fortune on Washi (paper) tape and probably have.

T
I saw some paper tape in the dollar store and was intrigued.
I laid out several pieces on wax paper.

I applied watered down acrylic paint.
After the paint dried, I used stamps and ink to decorate.
Here is one of the pieces used on a journaling page.
Fun and very cheap at $1 per roll.
Enjoy!

Cross Country...

My oldest grandson, Tyler, ran Cross Country this year.

He did really well for his first year and as a sixth grader, he was one of the youngest runners.
I was sad when their season was over because I really enjoyed watching him run.
So very proud.
Enjoy!

Treasure...

Samsonite

A couple of weeks ago, my mother passed on the piece to me. It had belonged to my grandparents and was part of a full set they owned. The tag attached to the handle has my grandfather's name on it. I love these old vanity/cosmetic cases, they come in handy for carrying art supplies on the go. This one I will treasure.
Enjoy!
